Last summer I was to visit my sister in Jacksonville, Florida.
She moved to Jacksonville a couple of years ago and this was the first time that I visited her at home.
She came to visit me last summer and I promised that I would be the one to visit next year. I took a flight to jacksonville. It took me 3 hours to get to the city. When I arrived, my sister was waiting for me at the airport. As soon as I stepped outside, I started sweating profusely. It was extremely warm and humid. It was hotter than I ever imagined it would be. I’m from the Northeast and the summer temperatures are usually in the low 90s. It was close to 100° every single day that I was in jacksonville. My sister had to go to the office one of the days I was there. While she was gone, I decided to take a nap. I woke up to the sound of beeping. I looked all over the house until I found the source of the beeping. The beeping was coming from the thermostat. There was an error message. I contacted my sister at the office and she already knew there was a problem. The smart thermostat in the house alerts my sister when there is a problem. My sister said she was on her way home and she already called the air conditioner repair company. Without air conditioning in the house, temperatures were extremely miserable. It kept getting warmer and warmer. In less than an hour, the temperature went from 72° to 87°. When the Jacksonville air conditioning service company arrived, it was 93° inside of the house.
