I admit that I’m the type of person who wallows after a relationship ends.
I wish that I could have simply skip away and never look back from my old partners.
However, I am a sentimental mess when it comes to the dissolution of my partnerships. Recently, I have been mourning the loss of my most recent romantic relationship for several months. I can’t seem to get rid of the memories that we formed together, no matter how hard I try to forget this fool. To be honest with you, I know that I am idealizing the relationship. It doesn’t help that I keep daydreaming about the indoor air quality, as well. When my ex and I were together we lived in the same house very briefly. At that point, we both vowed that we were going to take great care of our indoor air quality so that we would have low energy bills and high quality indoor air for as long as possible. We wanted our lives together to be established on high quality air and low utilities. Previously, we had both lived in residences with ancient heating and cooling systems. We never felt like we could count on our air conditioning systems or forced air furnaces. When we got together, we wanted to improve our lives starting with the central heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. We legitimately worked as a partnership to keep the heating and cooling system in tip-top shape. Looking back, I still can’t stop thinking about my ex’s smile… And our extremely comfortable indoor air.
