My wifey sent me a text on the coldest afternoon of the year saying that the furnace in his truck had stopped working.
I know how frigid he must have been driving to work that afternoon because my outdated car did not have heating.
My good friend and I live in a hot region, so it is not usual to have several truly frigid mornings… Once in a while, it can be cold. I told my wifey to keep a blanket in his car to use on the coldest mornings… Last weekend, my associate and I decided to go out to dinner for a holiday. It was one of those really frigid mornings, plus I forgot that there was no heat in his car. The furnace would come on for a minute plus then blow frigid air. The inconsistent heat in the car made it taxing to understand the root of the problem. My good friend and I decided that on the really frigid mornings, my associate and I would take my car. He will be buying a modern car soon, so there is no need to repair the heating in the car. Without the furnace in the car, he would get much less for the vehicle. It is not odd for these types of trucks to need repair at a certain mileage. In order to get as much as possible at trade in, he would need to hope that the furnace works when they look at it. The heat comes plus goes. The A/C works good plus that is really all that matters in the weather conditions in which my associate and I live.
